Reset & Return
A weekend to pause
₹8000.00
No itinerary to keep up with. You land in a village deep in the valley, get folded into a homestay, and the three days shape themselves into a walk if you feel like it, long stretches doing nothing in particular, meals timed to the household rather than a schedule. It's the opposite of a packed weekend trip. The whole point is that nothing is planned for you.
Who it's for: People burnt out on itineraries. Couples, solo travelers, or small groups who want a genuine reset rather than a checklist of sights, the anti-Instagram weekend crowd.
Day 1 — Arrive by afternoon, settle in, first meal with the host family, nothing scheduled after that
Day 2 — Fully open. Optional: a short walk to a nearby ridge/spring with the host or their family if you want company; otherwise just staying put
Day 3 — Slow morning, late breakfast, depart by afternoon
Homestay for 2 nights, all meals with the family, one optional local walk/orientation, nothing else scripted activities.
What's not: A guide shadowing you the whole time, a fixed activity list, WiFi guarantees (arguably a feature, not a bug — worth deciding if you want to say this explicitly).
Is there really no itinerary?
Really none. You'll have a homestay, meals with the family, and an open three days. If you want a walk or a small activity, just ask your hosts — they're happy to suggest something local. But nothing is scheduled for you by default.
Will I be bored?
If you need constant activity, Thaam probably isn't the right trip — try Shamnya or Samlaun instead. Thaam is built for people who actually want the slow, unstructured pace.
What's included?
Two nights' homestay and all meals with the host family for the duration. Travel to and from the valley isn't included.
Is WiFi / phone signal available?
Patchy at best, and that's on purpose. Let people at home know you'll be mostly offline for the weekend. [Confirm: any signal at all, or fully none?]
What should I pack?
Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing, a warm layer for evenings, good walking shoes in case you do want a short walk, and anything you'd want for genuinely unplugged downtime — a book, a journal, cards.
Is it suitable for solo travelers?
Yes, this is one of the most solo-friendly formats we run, since there's no group pace to keep up with.
Do I need to be fit or experienced with the outdoors?
No. There's no mandatory trekking or physical activity. Anyone comfortable with basic homestay conditions (shared bathrooms, simple rooms, no AC/heating beyond what the home has) can do this trip.
Can I extend my stay?
YES is this possible it will be a separate add-on.
How do I book?
Message us on WhatsApp or send an inquiry through email we'll confirm dates and match you with a host family in the valley.
